"This transaction is an example of a trend that we have witnessed all year," says Edward C. Maher, executive director at Cushman & Wakefield. C&W's Financial Services group of Robert E. Griffin, Jr., Marci Griffith-Loeber, Christopher T. Griffin and Maher exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer. "Single-tenant, net-leased properties are one of the safest and most popular investment opportunities that exist within the capital markets," Maher continues. "The demand for properties that are leased to national and international companies is clearly outstripping supply."

The building, located in the Miles Standish Industrial Park, sits on 27 acres of land in the 655-acre park and was completed in 1998. It is a state-of-the-art facility which features 30 tailboard-loading docks and 45,000 sf of office space. The park is also home to General Dynamics, Verizon, Pepsi-Cola and other large corporations.
