Mortgage Firm Inks Five-Year Office Lease

PLEASANTON, CA-Wholesale American Mortgage leases about 23,000 sf of office space here for 60 months. The average lease rate over the life of the lease is believed to be in the low- to mid-$20s per sf per year.

PLEASANTON, CA-Wholesale American Mortgage has signed a five-year lease for about 23,230 sf of office space here that is located in Pleasanton Corporate Commons. The company will use the space as its corporate headquarters. Located at 6200 Stoneridge Mall Rd., the building is owned by UBS Realty. The value of the lease was not made available by the parties involved, but other sources tell GlobeSt.com the value is around $2.7 million. Brian Lagomarsino, Ted Helgans and Gabe Arechaederra with Colliers International in Pleasanton represented UBS. Mike Copeland, also with Colliers Pleasanton, and Larry Easterly of Grubb & Ellis represented Wholesale American Mortgage.Lagomarsino and Steve Pisarik with Colliers in Irvine also brokered a 66-month, 22,308-sf lease here between Option One Mortgage/H&R Block and building owner Rasap Franklin. The building is located at 4256 Hacienda Dr. in Hacienda Lakes. The class A office building is part of a five-building complex totaling more than 200,000-sf. H&R Block plans to use the property as a regional office. An estimated lease value could not be obtained.
