Starwood Expands Corporate HQ Presence in White Plains

WHITE PLAINS-Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. needed additional headquarters space after relocating several hundred workers from across the US this year, so the firm signs a lease for approximately 70,000 sf of space at 1133 Westchester Ave.

WHITE PLAINS-In a move necessitated by growth at its corporate headquarters space at 1111 Westchester Ave., Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has taken about 70,000 sf of space literally next door at 1133 Westchester Ave. A Starwood spokesperson says the hotelier signed a lease for additional office space on floors two and three at IBM’s complex, which totals approximately 700,000 sf.

The facility is located next to Starwood’s 204,000-sf corporate headquarters building at 1111 Westchester Ave., part of the 1111/1129 Westchester Ave. complex. Nine West Group occupies the adjoining 1129 Westchester Ave. property.
