VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-The Town Center of Virginia Beach moves closer to its goal of 1.8 million sf of mixed-use offerings with the announcement of plans for the development’s third phase, an endeavor that will be highlighted by a combination hotel and condominium structure. Developer Armada Hoffler has just presented the plan for the Westin Hotel and condominiums–and then some–to the Virginia Beach City Council, and is currently awaiting approval.

Town Center will ultimately feature 17 square blocks of retail, residential, office, hospitality, entertainment offerings and ample parking facilities in the city’s central business district. Phase III, the portion that is currently up for approval, will consist of a 215-room Westin Hotel featuring 104 condominiums on the top several floors and a restaurant at the ground level.
