In his new role, Jennings will have overallresponsibility for management of merchandising, storeoperations, marketing, and store planning and designfor Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as oversight of SaksDirect. Jennings, who has been with Saks Fifth Avenuesince February, will report to Fred Wilson, chairmanand CEO of Saks Fifth Avenue. Prior to joining SaksFifth Avenue, Jennings held the post of president andmanaging director of Holt Renfrew Specialty StoreGroup, one of Canada's luxury specialty stores.
Frasch joined Saks Inc. in January to concentrate onthe retailer's international opportunities and privatebrand development. In his new role, Frasch will beresponsible for Saks Fifth Avenue's merchandising andplanning divisions. He will report to Jennings. Priorto joining Saks, Frasch was chairman and CEO of NeimanMarcus Group's Bergdorf Goodman.
The recent appoints are the latest in a long line ofchanges to Saks Fifth Avenue's leadership. Last fall,president & CEO Christina Johnson resigned, and FredWilson took over the position. Wilson joined SaksFifth Avenue from Donna Karan Co.
