McKesson has the ability to expand the 155,000-sf distribution facility to more than 200,000 sf. The land is less than a mile from the junction of Interstate 10 and Loop 101 and 10 miles west of downtown Phoenix.
The build-to-suit will feature state-of-the-art, automated equipment to service San Francisco-based McKesson's client base in the southwest United States. It was designed by Phoenix-based Deutsch & Associates; the general contractor is San Francisco-based Renaissance Construction. Trammell Crow Co.'s Robert Zingale, senior vice president of project management, and Terry DeLoach, senior project manager, are in charge of construction management services for the development.
TCC has advised McKesson since the project's onset. Jay Sholl, senior vice president of the capital markets group, and Brian Gleason, senior vice president of corporate advisory services, provided McKesson Corp. with development and brokerage services through the San Francisco office. Bo Mills and Mark Detmer, both vice presidents with TCC's Phoenix office, were in charge of site selection. CFT Land LLC was represented by Barry Gabel and Mindy Korth, also with TCC.
