Life Time Fitness Starts 110,000-SF Project in Cinco Ranch

HOUSTON-Life Time Fitness Inc. breaks ground on a sports and fitness center in the 7,200-acre, master-planned community. The facility will be the company's third in the Houston area and eighth in Texas.

HOUSTON-Residents of the 7,200-acre Cinco Ranch next year will have a new place for workouts with Eden Prairie, MN-based Life Time Fitness Inc. starting construction on a third location in the Houston area and eighth in the Lone Star State.

The 110,000-sf sports, professional fitness, family recreation and resort/spa center will open during the first half of 2005. The center is going up on a 15-acre site at the southeast corner of Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Boulevard. Life Time Fitness purchased the site from Newland Communities, the developer of Cinco Ranch.
