The upscale multifamily development at 910 M St. will occupy a parcel just blocks from the Washington Navy Yard and the Anacostia River in the city's East End area. Earlier this year, in an effort to facilitate the condominium's development, the District Board of Zoning signed off on zoning changes for the parcel, including zoning relief for roof structures, and variances for court, lot occupancy, bay projections, rear yard and lot line.

In addition to its residential units, the 240,000-sf property will also feature a fitness center, a common room and a three-level underground parking facility to accommodate as many as 205 vehicles. The condominium building, Hypo Real Estate head of real estate finance Evan F. Denner says, will assist in injecting new life into the East End. "The project is set apart by its up-and-coming location and its world-class project team and sponsorship," he adds. 910 M is on schedule to welcome its first occupants in July 2006.
