Currently located here, the operation will move to a larger structure in Pontiac. The 40,000-sf facility, just off Opdyke Road near South Boulevard, will be named JAC Products world technical center. The move is expected to be complete around the first of December.
"We simply outgrew our Madison Heights location," says JAC Products president George Hofman. "Our increasing business volume has meant expanding our capacity to meet product development demands of our locations around the globe. At the same time, our world technical center increases our range and depth of service to our customers."
Owned by Citicorp Venture Capital, Ltd., JAC Products operates in the US, Germany, Portugal, Argentina and the UK.
