Janitorial Firm Takes High-Rise's Last Open Floor

HOUSTON-GCA Services Group rolls several locations in the region into 16,033 sf of class A space at Millennium Tower. The firm signs a long-term lease to push the high-rise to 97% occupancy.

HOUSTON-GCA Services Group Inc., a local janitorial firm, has signed a long-term lease for 16,033 sf at Millennium Tower in the Westchase submarket. The company is consolidating several Houston-area locations into one.

“GCA Services wanted to be in one of the nicer, class A buildings in Westchase,” says Steve Rocher, a senior vice president in Houston for Grubb & Ellis Co. He and Grubb & Ellis’ Kristen Rabel represented Millennium Tower’s owner, Houston-based BMS Management. The deal takes the 361,000-sf building at 10375 Richmond Ave. to 97% occupancy.

“They took the last full floor that was available in the building,” Rocher tells GlobeSt.com. “We’re really happy to have them.” The largest block of contiguous space is now 5,850 sf.
