Avenue Viera Opens

VIERA, FL- After being threatened by several hurricanes, the 371,000-sf phase I of The Avenue Viera opens.

VIERA, FL- Cousins Properties Inc. celebrated the grand opening of the 371,000-sf phase I of The Avenue Viera. The grand opening was delayed by several weeks due to the string of hurricanes that hit Florida.

Located adjacent to Interstate 95 in the master-planned community of Viera, north of Melbourne on Florida’s east coast, the upscale specialty retail center in Brevard County is 78% leased and 82% committed to more than 40 retailers and restaurants. The project, which started construction in fall 2003, will ultimately house approximately 66 retailers and restaurants.
