HOUSTON-After subleasing 5,000 sf of class A office space from Nike three years ago, Woodrock & Co. has signed a direct lease with building owner, BMS Management, to renew and expand to 7,284 sf.

“The firm has been doing well and is adding professionals,” says Steven Biegel, senior vice president and branch manager of Studley’s Houston office. “They needed more space.”

Biegel tells GlobeSt.com that Woodrock considered many class A buildings in the Greenway Plaza submarket. “We received some very competitive proposals, but in the end, staying was the most cost effective decision because moving is always very expensive,” he explains.
