Asia Properties Seeks Seat on OTCBB

BELLINGHAM, WA-Currently traded on Pink Sheets, the locally based developer of resorts in Thailand has filed with the Securities Exchange Commission to be a fully reporting public company, the first stop on the road to being listed on the NASD Over the Counter Bulletin Board.

BELLINGHAM, WA-Locally based Asia Properties is seeking a spot on the NASD Over the Counter Bulletin Board. Currently traded on Pink Sheets, the would-be developer of resorts in Thailand took the first step toward the OTCBB recently when it filed a Form 10-SB with the Securities Exchange Commission to become a fully reporting public company.Company CEO Daniel McKinney was not immediately available for comment Monday evening. “Being on the NASD OTCBB Exchange would give the Company considerably more visibility and liquidity in trading…,” he said in a prepared statement.Asia Properties Inc. was established to invest in resorts and prime real estate in Thailand and Southeast Asia. In May, the company announced it had signed a memorandum of understanding to purchaseup to 16.6% of the common stock in Quest Resorts, a Thailand-based corporation that owns and manages golf and beach resort developments in Thailand.
