Rapak, a division of DS Smith Plastics, will leave 737 Oakridge Dr. and 260 Rocbaar Dr. by January 2006 in favor of the building owned by Prudential Insurance Co. Florstar Sales, a major commercial flooring distributor, is leasing the entire building at 1075 W. Taylor, a building dubbed Pinnacle VI. The building, located in the 800-acre business center near Interstate 55 interchanges at Weber Road or Route 53, includes 30,000 sf of office space as well as 44 truck docks.
Although lease terms were not disclosed, net lease rates for space in Windham Industrial Center begin at $4.27 per sf while the asaking rate at Pinnacle Business Center is $3.75 per sf.
NAI Hiffman executive vice president Anthony Burns represented Florstar Sales in negotiations with Kirk Armour and William Frain of CB Richard Ellis. Traci Buckingham, Lisa Konieczka and Cal Wessman of CBRE represented Rapak, LLC in negotiations with Jeff Fischer of Panattoni Development Co. along with Mark Moran and Steve Connolly of NAI Hiffman.
