Overall vacancy in the western end of the Interstate 88 office market to start the fourth quarter was 31.2% including sublease space, according to Cushman & Wakefield's most recent research report. That hardly dissuaded the new owners of the building near Interstate 88 exits at Naperville and Winfield roads.
"263 Shuman is the right property at the right time," says GVA Williams' David Trumpy, in charge of leasing the building. "As the economy continues to recover, this property represents an efficient, cost-effective opportunity for corporate tenants seeking large blocks of space to expand their operations."
Meanwhile, GVA Williams is marketing the 225,000-sf 1100 Warrenville Rd. building here for lease or sale.
