The Northern DuPage County industrial market has seen direct vacancy rates drop two full percentage points in 2004 to 8.2% starting the fourth quarter, according to Delta Associates, Transwestern Commercial Service's research arm. When sublease space is factored in, vacancy is 8.8%, still healthier than the entire market.
