The Dime Building is at 719 Griswold St. Bosc has acquired a building at 131 W. Lafayette and is demolishing it to add about 565 spaces to the garage, which has 437 spaces. The garage and Dime Building will eventually be linked by a skywalk bridge.
The Detroit Downtown Development Authority is lending Bosc $500,000 to help finance the $16.1-million project. Bosc bought the Dime Building, then known as One Kennedy Square, and garage in 1998-99, and has invested more than $40 million in renovations since then.
