Village Leases New Government Center

NEW HAVEN, MI-Village officials have rented a new home for their administrative and emergency services. They have an option to buy the $3.5-million building on Main Street.

NEW HAVEN, MI-Village leaders in this Macomb County community have approved a letter of intent to occupy a $3.5-million building on Main Street for its administration and emergency services once it is completed. The original price tag for the project when it was pitched to village officials a week before had been $3.75 million.

The developer, Walter Winkle of Phoenix Contracting, would build the facility and lease the needed space to New Haven. Village officials would have the option to buy the building once it is finished.
