The first tower broke ground in July 2003. It is sold out and will reach completion next March. The second, central tower followed with groundbreaking this June. It is 99% sold, and occupancy begins in May 2006. Beach Club III is scheduled for completion in July 2006. A spokesman for Related Group tells GlobeSt.com that it breaks ground with 88% of the units presold.

Construction costs are $144.5 million, $172.4 million and $177.2 million for Phases I, II, and III, respectively, taking the overall cost of the development to $494.1 million. Prices for the condo units in the complex begin in the $400,000s and reach to more than $2 million. They range in size from 811-sf studios to 2,100-sf two-bedroom/den configurations along with penthouses that range from 2,200 sf to 3,200 sf, each with rooftop terraces.

Seiger Suarez Architects designed the buildings as a trio and Yabu Pushelberg is the interior design firm. Both companies have worked on numerous Related Group projects in South Florida. Amenities at Beach Club include a 50,000-sf private club that contains a fitness center, spa and restaurant that provides indoor and outdoor beachside dining.
