Dentists Plan to Develop Next Door

CHICAGO-A 3,800-sf office building is planned for a 9,329-sf city-owned site at the northeast corner of Broadway Street and Winona Avenue, which the Asian Village Dental Clinic is buying for its full appraised value.

CHICAGO-City-owned property at the northeast corner of Broadway Street and Winona Avenue will be sold to an Uptown dentist for $466,000 to build a 3,800-sf office building. Dr. Linh Nguyen plans office space for medical, financial or insurance users on the 9,329-sf city-owned site, next to his Asian Village Dental Clinic at 5129 N. Broadway St. where he has been since 1987 with partner Dr. Phoung L. Tran.

“It just happens to be in front of my office,” says Nguyen of the city-owned property, which he is buying for its appraised value. “I’ve seen a lot of changes in the community. It gets better every day.”
