Terrence M. O'Hara, managing partner of value-added specialists Evergreen Realty Partners, adds the deal includes a 6.7-acre site that allows for expansion of 52,000 sf, as well as 350 parking spaces. "This building fits MAXRAD like a glove," O'Hara says.

The building was constructed by McShane Construction Corp. in 1991 for Comark Corp., a computer wholesaler. It is located in the Covington Business Center with access to the Elgin O'Hare Expressway.

Lee & Associates principals John T. Cassidy and Kenneth P. Franzese represented Evergreen Realty Partners in the sale, as well as the privately-owned real estate investment partnership's acquisition. The John Buck Co. principal Robert Chodos and vice president Stephen Levitas handled negotiations for MAXRAD Products Group, which makes accessories used in land mobile radio systems and Wi-Fi networks.
