251-Unit Condo Project With Affordable Units Wins Approval

ARLINGTON, VA-With the recent approval from the Arlington County Board, a 251-unit condominium development with 20 affordable housing residences set aside will make its way to South Arlington.

ARLINGTON, VA-The Alexan at South Glebe, a proposed 251-unit condominium property that will feature 20 affordable housing residences, is set to become a reality now that the Arlington County Board has given the go ahead for developer Trammell Crow Residential Inc. to proceed with the project. The property will sit on a parcel that is currently home to an Econo Lodge at 2485 Glebe Rd. Cost of the development has not yet been publicized.

Trammell Crow, operating under the name South Glebe Holdings LLC, has tapped WDG Architecture to design the new green–environmentally friendly–multifamily property, which will consist of a four-story segment complemented by an 11-story tower.
