Tech Lighting Signs 205,142-SF Deal With CMD

SKOKIE, IL-CMD Realty Investors has filled its 485,000-sf flex building at 7400 N. Linder Ave., signing a 205,142-sf lease with Tech Lighting LLC. Although terms were not disclosed, larger space blocks in this north suburb are available at net lease rates beginning just below $3 per sf. Tech Lighting LLC will consolidate operations in the new location, which allows the company to keep its work force of 300 employees. The 39-year-old building on 16.4 acres near the Touhy Avenue and Edens Expressway interchange, was acquired from AMB Property in 2002 for $12.1 million, according to property records.
