Tech Company Signs $1M Lease

TEMPE, AZ-After two years in Airway Corporate Center, Limelight Networks Inc., eyeing a February kick-off for the terms, boosts the bottom line to 20,870 sf with a five-year renewal and expansion into 7,529 sf of flex industrial space right next door.

TEMPE, AZ-In an effort to accommodate its growing business, a technology company has renewed a 13,768-sf lease and expanded by 7,529 sf into the building next door in Airway Corporate Center.

Limelight Networks Inc.’s five-year lease at 2220 and 2250 W. 14th St. is worth more than $1 million, says Curtis Brown, a principal with Phoenix-based Ross Brown Partners Inc. who represented the building owner, Phoenix-based MainSpring Capital Group. Brown was assisted by Rick Collins and Cameron Boyd.

Brown tells GlobeSt.com that Limelight Networks had been a tenant in 2220 W. 14th St. for two years when the firm realized it needed to expand. Limelight Networks houses a network operations center, the backbone of its digital delivery network, at the 2220 building and will use the 2250 building to house collaborative customer projects as well as expanding the sales force.
