SEATTLE-David Milloy, Microsoft’s exclusive real estate broker for the past decade, has left Trammell Crow Co. to co-manage the regional operations of CB Richard Ellis with Jim Bowles, senior managing director of CBRE’s Puget Sound offices since 2001.Milloy has completed Eastside office lease transactions totaling five million sf–half of that in deals larger than 100,000 sf–and Eastside property acquisitions totaling $300 million. In addition to working with Microsoft since 1994, Milloy also recently represented Puget Sound Energy in its 340,000-sf consolidation in Downtown Bellevue. Milloy and Bowles have known each other since they attended Mercer Island High School together. Neither was available Wednesday afternoon for additional comment. In a prepared statement released Wednesday, Milloy says he has “worked with some of the smartest real estate people in the country, in collegiate environments where good decisions can be made and implemented. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to use my experiences to help run a major multifaceted commercial real estate business at CBRE.”Adds Bowles, “David brings a set of skills unique to most management teams. Combined with my 17 years of management experience, we believe we are very well positioned to help build significant market share for CBRE.” Prior to CBRE, Bowles was Cushman & Wakefield’s senior managing director for the Puget Sound region. Prior to that, he was senior vice president for the US operations of USA Colliers Macaulay Nicolls International.Milloy replaces Art Wahl, who has co-managed the office for the past four years, about three years longer than he originally expected. Wahl started with CBRE in the late 1960′s and is currently on sabbatical. He plans to return to CBRE this spring as a full-time broker.
