"The market is hot right now--it's crazy how fast the market is moving--and Transwestern is in a great position to take advantage of the opportunity," says Bull, who has more than six years of experience in the multifamily arena. As vice president of the Phoenix's office, he will focus on building the firm's multifamily business in New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada.

Bull tells GlobeSt.com that his first order of business is to build a team to help generate leads and handle the deal flow. He expects to bring on seven to eight people in the future. "We're going to be patient and hire the right people," he says. However, he admits that it would be easy to get overwhelmed. "There's a lot of work that needs to be done."

Bull joins Transwestern from Trammell Crow Co. where he was an associate and part of one of the most successful multifamily brokerage teams in Arizona. TCC execs in Phoenix declined comment on his departure.

Bull also was a broker at CB Richard Ellis Inc. and Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co. During his career, he brokered multifamily sales in excess of $50 million, spanning all apartment classes from class A properties to affordable housing product. He also brokers raw land for development. Transwestern plans to recruitment of additional multifamily talent throughout 2005 in Los Angeles, South Florida and Houston.
