The firm's two new vice presidents are Jerome Mason, a director of energy services for CBRE's corporate services group, and David Carder, a senior associate who joined the team in 1996. Mason focuses on providing real estate solutions to corporations in the energy and chemical industries while Carder specializes in industrial properties.
Mason recently was instrumental in the disposition of a 22-piece gas station portfolio in Maricopa County on behalf of Shell Oil Products US. Before joining CBRE in 1997, he spent 29 years with El Segundo, CA-based Unocal Corp. where he was responsible for managing the disposition of Unocal's surplus retail properties as well as the resolution of environmental claims that were brought against the company.
