However, Holliday Fenoglio Fowler senior managing director Matthew Lawton suggests the most recent sale involved a superior asset. "As the first true trophy apartment tower to trade in Downtown Chicago in the past decade, the Park Millennium generated a tremendous level of interest from investors," says Lawton, who represented Archstone- Smith along with managing director Jaime Fink along with directors Marty O'Connell and Dave Nachison.

The 52-story building includes units ranging from 525-sf studios to 1,850-sf three-bedroom apartments with floor-to-ceiling windows. Views range from Lake Michigan, Millennium Park and the skyline. Amenities include a fitness center with lap pool as well as an underground garage.
