Two-story residential townhouses would also be built as part of the project, proposed for an area that borders Big Beaver and Alpine. According to the proposal, the ground level of one tower will include 7,253 sf of retail space and a 2,847-sf day spa. The 23-floor east tower will contain 98 residential units. The 12-floor west tower will house 57 condo units, and six floors of parking. On the north side of the property, abutting the existing residential neighborhood, will be 54 two-story townhouses.

Mark Miller, planning director for the city, says the townhouses are intended to be a transition area from the towers to an existing single-family residential neighborhood to the north. G2 Consulting Group has started geo-technical investigations for the proposed development. A timeline for city review of the project has not been set.
