CARNEY, MD-In a recent deal valued at $40 million, ownership of North Plaza Shopping Center has changed hands. Beating out numerous bids, Continental Realty Corp. acquired the 338,000-sf retail property from of the estate of Leonard Stulman Enterprises.

Located off I-695 near the bustling intersection of Joppa Rd. and Perring Parkway, North Plaza Shopping Center sports an address in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Rd. Philip C. Iglehart and Dennis P. Malone of real estate services firm Colliers Pinkard were the brokers on the transaction.

Safeway, Ross Dress for Less and K-Mart anchor the 32-acre property, which was 99% leased at the time of the transaction. Other names on the list of 32 tenants include Gold's Gym, Radio Shack, Sherwin Williams and Subway.
