Hawthorn Suites are franchise operations overseen by US Franchise Systems, Inc., which was acquired in 2000 by the Pritzker family, whose holdings include Hyatt Hotels.Like most Hawthorn Suites, the property at 10 Westminster Way includes indoor swimming pool and fitness center, while the suites come with complimentary high-speed Internet access.
Chicago-based Aries Hospitality Investments represented AE Hotel Ventures while Steven J. Marx of Hotel Source, Inc. handled negotiations for GSH Lodging LLC. Aries Hospitality Investments, an affiliate of Aries Capital, targets mid-market and upscale properties in the $5 million to $50 million bracket.
