Design Firm Commits to Nearly 26,000 SF

WASHINGTON, DC-Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern–a leading architectural and engineering design firm headquartered in Roanoke, VA–has signed on for 25,900 sf within the three-building office compound known as Lafayette Centre. HSMM’s space will be located in Three Lafayette Centre, the 713,000-sf complex’s 259,000-sf building at 1155 21st St. NW.

Financial details of the deal with property owner Equity Office Properties Trust have not been revealed, but space above the second floor of the building is marketed for about $39 per sf. HSMM relied on Jon Olmstead and Steve Schaumberg of Cresa Partners and Divaris Real Estate Inc.’s Krista Chappell and Michael B. Divaris for representation. EOP’s Jim Potocki handles leasing at the class A property.
