Colorado Springs, CO-based Liberty Wire & Cable Inc. signed a five-year lease for 12,562 sf at 4215 E. Broadway Rd. The cable manufacturer is relocating and expanding from 7,500 sf at 227 S. Rockford Dr. in Tempe. The move will take place in April.

The transaction is valued at $520,000 over the term for building owner, MainSpring Capital Group of Phoenix, says Rick Collins of Ross Brown Partners Inc. He, Cameron Boyd and Curtis Brown represented MainSpring Capital in the transaction.

"Liberty liked the location and the newness of the building," Collins tells GlobeSt.com. "It's also a turn-key deal because they can design their own office and production areas." The under-construction MainSpring Cotton Center is a 115,000-sf, two-building project located inside the 280-acre Cotton Center project, but with direct frontage along Broadway Road. Liberty Wire & Cable was self-represented.
