He orchestrated the deal with colleague senior vice president Kenneth Gentzel.

A 55-acre section north of Massachusetts Ave., NoMa is enclosed by the Washington Convention Center, Union Station and New York Ave. The neighborhood is one of the few areas in the District that features available land zoned for commercial and residential development.
