Although financial terms were not disclosed, Argent Mortgage Co. took the additional space for more than five years, according to the office REIT, which is asking $14.50 per sf at the property that includes nearly 850,000 sf of office space. Occupancy at Continental Towers, which includes a 55,000-sf health club and two restaurants, was most recently 76%. The three 12-story towers also recently won "the Office Building of the Year" honors from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Suburban Chicago.

Jupiter Brokerage Services president Howard L. Ecker and John Gillespie with Orange, CA-based Newport Commercial Realty Advisors handled negotiations for Argent, a national wholesale mortgage lender.
