NPR Leases 28,500 SF

WASHINGTON, DC-The brand new trophy office property at 900 Seventh St. NW will welcome another tenant to its midst now that National Public Radio has committed to 28,500 sf of class A office space in the 350,000-sf building. The nonprofit radio news broadcasting organization’s additional space is located just around the corner from its headquarters site on Massachusetts Avenue NW.

Among NPR’s list of new neighbors is building owner and lead tenant–with 100,000 sf–the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, which acquired the building in June from developer Akridge for approximately $104 million.
