The trio, boasting more than 60 years of leasing experience in the Houston market, has brought more than four million sf of leasing assignments to TCC, nearly doubling its office leasing portfolio to 10 million sf, says Mark Taylor, TCC senior vice president and director in Houston. Grubb & Ellis did not return telephone calls for comment on the team's exit.

Taylor, who joined Trammell Crow about seven months ago from BMC Software Inc., pursued the trio after doing extensive research to identify what he believed to be the city's top leasing team. "The addition of Steve, Kristen and Charles further strengthens an already good team," he says. "We feel that we have a strong leasing team to continue to pursue new opportunities." TCC's other office brokers are Lee Jeane, Dave Hanusa, D.A. Smith, Kristen Swearingen and Cody Armbrister.

Rocher, a 30-year commercial real estate veteran who spent the past 15 years at Grubb & Ellis, has been named senior vice president. Scoville, with 20 years' experience, and Rabel, who has nine years in the business, have been accorded vice president titles.
