Volkert, SIOR handled negotiations for Bee Sales Co. in its acquisition of the 40-year-old property from a private investor, who was represented by CB Richard Ellis senior vice president J. Patrick McCourt and vice president Greg Wernisch.
In unrelated deals in the area, Wal-Mart Stores LP leased 27,354 sf at 6653 Howard St. while Bankier Cos. leased 18,945 sf at 7530 N. Caldwell Ave. Both warehouse buildings are owned by J. Emil Anderson, who was represented by NAI Hiffman executive vice president Duke Botthof and vice president Stephen A. Sullivan. CB Richard Ellis represented Wal-Mart while Epic/Savage represented Bankier Cos.
