ALEXANDRIA, VA-Ownership of 1001 N. Fairfax St., a 111,300-sf office structure located on a one-acre parcel just blocks from the Potomac River, has changed hands. Federal Capital Partners acquired the 23-year-old building from Pentagon Federal Credit Union, the lead tenant, for an undisclosed amount.

While specific terms of the deal are presently unavailable, the property’s current assessed value of $26 million offers some perspective on how much the property could have commanded. The building features an underground parking facility and is part of the five-structure TransPotomac Plaza office park.
