"Demolition of the Sun Times building is close to complete and we plan to begin construction in the next few months," Trump says. Completion is expected in 2008.
Meanwhile, the project has been reconfigured to increase the number of units, from 461 residential condominiums to 472 units, as well as from 227 hotel condominium units to 286. "We now can offer additional water view units plus several new floor plans previously not available," says Tere Proctor of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate, director of sales for the project.
In addition, the project includes a 60,000-sf health spa, conference center, ballrooms and retail space, including restaurants.
