Bremer Renews Lease, Gets to Plant Logo

ST. PAUL-Bremer Financial Corp. adds six years to its 32,000-sf lease and gets naming rights for Town Square Reality's 27-story, 248,000-sf building.

ST. PAUL-Bremer Financial Corp. recently signed a six-year extension on its Downtown headquarters and, as part of the deal, will put its name atop the landmark. This spring, Bremer signs will appear on the north and east sides of the 27-story Downtown tower, where the financial firm has had its headquarters since 1991.

The two sides are a minimum–the Bremer name may also appear on other sides of the building. Bremer’s lease is for about 32,000 sf and will be extended through 2014. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The financial firm’s lease was set to expire in 2008.

The 248,000-sf building, which is owned by Town Square Reality, LLC and managed by Sentinel Property Management Corp. of New York, is now called the North Central Life Tower, or NCL Tower for short. But North Central Life Insurance was sold years ago and no longer a marquee tenant.
