ITT Leases Vacant 167,300-SF Office Building

HERNDON, VA-After sitting vacant for an entire year, Monument I will become fully reoccupied now that ITT Industries has signed a lease for the entire 167,300-sf building. The commitment will pave the way for the technology products and services provider to consolidate two offices of its advanced engineering and sciences division under one roof. The large amount of space also leaves ample room for growth. E.Spire Communications Inc. had once been the sole tenant in the building, which is not likely to sit vacant again anytime in the near future; ITT’s lease is not scheduled to expire until the end of 2019.

Located immediately off the Dulles Airport Access Rd. near Fairfax County Pkwy., Monument I is part of the four-structure, 790,000-sf Worldgate Center office complex. The seven-story class A property was developed in 1998 by Monument Realty and is currently owned by Prudential Insurance Co.
