Henkel Polska Shopping 50,000-SF Requirement

WARSAW-The Poland cosmetics division of the Henkel Group may keep its headquarters in the Mokotów Business Park or relocate depending on the opportunities, according to Colliers International, which is reviewing the company's alternatives.

WARSAW-Henkel Polska, the Poland cosmetics division of the Henkel Group, an international consumer goods company, is considering whether to keep its headquarters in the Mokotów Business Park here or relocate within the city. The company currently leases about 50,000 sf in the park’s Saturn and Mars buildings, but has retained Colliers International to review its alternatives and negotiate a new lease agreement.Colliers commercial associate Marcin Kania says there is currently tremendous competition between the larger office developers in Warsaw. “In Mokotów alone there are at least four new office projects about to be developed simultaneously and this means great opportunity for tenants with large requirements and good covenants,” she says. Adds Colliers International associate director Robert Karniewski, “This is a perfect time for the large corporates to be looking around for new premises. Tenants should not be disappointed with the lack of choice and also leasing offers should be more attractive now than ever.” Earlier this month, Sanofi-Aventis, the third largest pharmaceutical company in the world, extended and expanded its lease in Mokotów Business Park. The company, which has been located in the park since 1998, now occupies about 50,000 sf in the Neptun building there on a lease that runs out in six years.
