University Seeks Real Estate Guidance from Cassidy& Pinkard

COLLEGE PARK, MD-The powers that be at the University of Maryland at College Park have decided to seek the guidance of real estate services firm Cassidy & Pinkard with regard to plans to augment its real estate portfolio. Operating under a two-year contract, Cassidy & Pinkard will share its expertise on leasing, property acquisition and disposition and market analysis. The university, which owns property on and off campus, has spent $500 million on various construction projects over the last 10 years.

CEO Robert M. Pinkard and vice president of brokerage services Shelley Phibbons Radomski will head up the endeavor for Cassidy & Pinkard, and will be joined in the advisory project by the Community Partners Realty Advisory Services and J. Cater Economic Consultants. The Community Partners will give a helping hand with multi-family development pursuits involving undergraduate student housing, while J. Carter will offer a helping hand with economic feasibility studies, market research and financial risk analysis.
