KBS Realty Advisors Opening SF Office

SAN FRANCISCO-The commercial real estate investment advisor from Newport Beach is also opening offices in Chicago and Washington, DC, "to handle the large volume of transactions required by our investors."

SAN FRANCISCO-KBS Realty Advisors is opening an office here next month as part of a larger expansion of its acquisitions team. The new office will open March 1 at 201 California St. Downtown.KBS has hired Peter Mette as senior vice president and head of the new office. Most recently an investment officer for MetLife, Mette will be responsible for acquisitions and dispositions in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.In addition to opening an office here, the company is also making immediate plans to open offices in Chicago and Washington, DC. A company source tells GlobeSt.com the Chicago office will open in early March and the DC office will open in Late April or early May. “We are expanding our acquisitions team to handle the large volume of transactions required by our investors,” says KBS regional president Bill Milligan in a prepared statement. KBS specializes in domestic real estate investments on behalf of select private and public pension fund, endowment and foundation partners. The company currently has outposts in Boston and New York City.
