Panattoni Launches New Retail Division

SACRAMENTO-The new division launches with offices in Southern and Northern California. Company officials say the company "soon" will have retail capability in all 18 Panattoni offices nationally.

SACRAMENTO-Panattoni Development Company is getting serious about its retail side. The locally based company says it has created a retail division with the company and appointed partner Jeff Pintar to direct its operations nationally from the company’s Irvine office.The firm is starting with retail talent in three of its offices: Irvine, Sacramento and Denver. Adon Panattoni will head up the Southern California region. Gary Muljat has been hired to head up the Northern California region. No information was released with regard to the Denver operation and a company officially was not immediately available Thursday for comment.”With 2 million square feet already underway we’ve hit the ground running,” says PDC chief executive Carl Panattoni in a prepared statement. “It is our expectation that we soon shall have a retail capability in each of the 18 offices operating now under the Panattoni name.” Founded in 1986, PDC is a privately held, full service development company. Over the last five years, it has averaged nearly 10 million sf of development annually.
