Smaller Firms Lock Up 125,000 SF Near O'Hare

BENSENVILLE, IL-Park International Trading pays less than $40 per sf for a warehouse at 350 Evergreen St. while AMB Property Corp. keeps two tenants in larger space blocks while landing a new tenant.

BENSENVILLE, IL-Park International Trading paid more than $1 million for its 27,038-sf warehouse at 350 Evergreen St., while three other companies opted to sign leases for slightly larger space blocks in this suburb next to O’Hare International Airport. Plastron Industries sold the warehouse and one-acre site for $50,000 more than the $1 million it paid in 1997, according to property records.

Meanwhile, AMB Property Corp. signed three deals totaling nearly 100,000 sf, two with current customers and the other with a new tenant. Admiral Air renewed its deal for 36,319 sf at 1101 Ellis Ave, while USA Bouquet renewed a 31,346-sf lease at 614 Supreme Dr. Dedicated Systems signed a 31,037-sf deal at 1117 Ellis Ave.
