A proposed price of the development has not yet been released. The development would encompass 535 acres, most of which is now the Romeo Golf Course, bounded by Powell Road to the east, 32 Mile Road to the north, M-53 to the west and 31 Mile Road to the south.

A township facility, fire station, hotel and golf course also may be part of the development. Plans call for nearly 200 units of senior housing. Another 2,300 residential units, including town houses, are proposed, Kirsh adds.

The township will be reviewing the proposal in March. The project has not yet been named.
