Blue Cross Signs Two Leases With Duke

EAGAN, MN-The healthcare insurer signs a 42,500-sf lease for a mail distribution center at Silver Bell Commons and renewed another 53,772-sf lease at Eagandale Technology Center.

EAGAN, MN-Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota recently signed two leases in the Twin Cities with Duke Realty Corp. The healthcare insurer signed a lease for 42,500 sf at Duke’s Silver Bell Commons here for a new mail distribution center and another 53,772-sf lease Eagandale Technology Center.

“Not insignificantly, the City of Eagan will not lose any jobs to another market as a result of Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s plans,” says Pat Mascia, Duke’s senior vice president of Twin Cities operations. Mascia, together with Jim Schlundt, a senior leasing representative, represented Duke in the transaction. Nancy Miller, senior consultant of corporate services for United Properties of Bloomington, represented Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
