The addition of Shlaes and Tresslar bolsters Grubb & Ellis' consulting and asset services businesses, the company says. "They have a proven track record of working as a team and providing creative and profitable solutions for a broad array of clients," says Grubb & Ellis corporate services president Stephen A. Stoner. Adds Tresslar, "We feel that this is a wonderful place to expand our real estate consulting activities, and we can bring more capabilities to Grubb & Ellis' clients as well."

Shlaes spent 14 years with Arthur Andersen's real estate consulting group. Tresslar also was a vice president at Balcor Co.
